I'm a super huge fan of Albasha's chicken shawarma. It is very tasty and well-flavoured, and I most enjoy having salads with the chicken. The staff are always kind and welcoming, and I find the team to be very generous with their portions. Great spot for a hearty meal!
Great shawarma, highly recommend. The food is good, and the employees are great. We came in with a group of 8 at midday (had fish n chips in mind but next door had no seating) and impromptu they pushed together a trio of tables and plated and served all the food with no issues. I was able to take care of the bill after we were finished eating with no issues. Very friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be visiting again.
Had the Al-Basha chicken plate which was pretty big. The falafel wrap with three falafel in a wrap at just 6.50 is a nice deal. Nice to find a place like this in Kits. No frills place. Can eat in or take out. I'd go back.
hands down my favourite shawarma in town the chicken is my go to but the lamb and falafel are delicious as well and u can have it to go and eat it at the beach
Honestly the best shawarma that I've had in Vancouver. Have literally driven 45 mins out of my way for it before. The staff is also always so friendly and delightful!
Some of the best shawarma I’ve ever had. Chicken is super moist and flavourful, rest of the ingredients are fresh. Poutine is perfect. And I love the atmosphere. Also, super affordable. It’s a go-to place, highly recommend.
This homey and authentic joint is awesome! Mediterranean food by far is incredibly underrated and absolutely delicious. The staff here are super generous, extremely kind, talented, approachable and very friendly. The falafel is literally to die for, they whip them up and fry em' fresh to order right infront of you. Everything has that good old homemade with love, pride and outstandiny effort factor. I got the Falafel Plate which was very wholesome, a plentiful portion, extremely delicious combination of multiple fresh and exciting flavors containing some of the best Hummous I have ever tasted and Tabouleh which was bursting with flavor. A great experience, would certainly go back and cannot wait to be honest. All this yumminess was packed into compostable packaging and cutlery which is fantastic and I love their ethics and morales. My only regret is not grabbing one of those extremely yummy, fresh looking baklava goodies to go. That's my next mission! What's also awesome, is that this quaint gem is only a five minute walk from the beach where you can drool over every single bite in front of the ocean, sunshine and mountain backdrop. Support local!
Tried it twice and both times were super delicious. Had the mix chicken and beef. Added falafel. Everything was great and staff were super helpful. Will go there more and more.
